Wet and warm winter for tasmania, where I’ve had good weather since 6am apronxon a lovely day.

Here’s a few pics to get the idea of what I’m talking about:

For the past few months, all I’ve done while off the grid in Arizona is go to the mall at night, read, walk around, and drink. I still read books, listen to music, go for hikes, and go on walks in the desert. I’m still pretty active, having run a distance of 3 miles today, although it seems to take longer when I’m in a hurry. The weather in the US has been fine in the past few days, and there’s been some rain for the past 7 hours or so, but I wasn’t out too long. I haven’t had the power outage for several days, so I’ve not had a lot of trouble using the wifi, and as long as I’m using it I’m safe from the power outage.

To try to make some pictures on the car this morning, I put in a little manual windscreen wipers (and it does have some wick problems in my car) and they work fine. I think I put in two more this afternoon as well, but I probably haven’t actually put in any new wipers yet for a while because they’re pretty dirty already.

The road is really wide here. In order for me to be able to get onto the freeway from my house, it’s really quite long and very steep. To get onto I-10, I actually had to take over three lanes of slow moving traffic. As far as I know, there isn’t a place like that up on a major highway in Australia.

Once I got on the freeway, the traffic started to slow. It felt really nic
